A Very Sad Day

  Hi, this is Camille. Chloe, my friends hummingbird baby was eaten by a rat as an egg, while Max and Emily grew up to be adults.   

 here is how it all happened:

 

We had came back from our ''half'' vacation and I was delivering a pair of glasses that I had borrowed from Megan, one of my friends. I knocked on the door but she wasn't there. I figured that I could peek into the clubhouse we had. ( If you have not read TWO NEW NESTS then you should read that before you read this.) I snuck over to the clubhouse and looked inside. It was pretty dirty in there. Then I remembered the two baby chicks in the tree and the egg on the tarp. I climbed the ladder and peered over to the right. Emily and Max were gone from the nest. ''yay!'' I whispered. Emily and Max had grown up! I peered over to my left. Chloe was gone! ''But how!?'' I thought to myself. I remembered that Chloe was an egg a few days ago. Then Megan told me everything I needed to know, Chloe was gone for ever.
